BIRDS OF NORTH NORFOLK, OCTOBER 2015
The photographs in this temporary gallery were taken during a short (13 to 15 October) visit to friends. We went to two sites. The first, on the 13th, being the NWT Reserve at Cley Marshes (weather not good - Curlew and Kestrel best). The second, on the 14th, was to the RSPB Reserve at Titchwell Marsh (including the sea shore) where we enjoyed better weather. Species included: Curlew [again], Black-tailed Godwit, Goldcrest, Brent Goose, Oystercatcher, Redshank, Snipe, Turnstone and various ducks. There were also other distant waders including Knot, Ruff, Dunlin and Curlew Sandpiper but photos were very poor. Very wet weather led to our outing on the 15th being abandoned.
